Anaconda Industries 030: Gel

March 15th, 2010

And we’re back!  I’ll bet you missed me so–what’s that?  You didn’t even notice I wasn’t posting?  Oh…

Well, I’m back anyway.  This is indeed a true story (as are all of my stories).  Hopefully we’re back in the groove and I can continue to pour out my soul into these strips that nobody reads.

Anyway, in case you’ve forgotten how this works: click the picture for a bigger version, click here for last episode and click over there for the very, very first episode ever!

Now, I know what you’re thinking, and it’s somewhere along the lines of, “Oh no you didn’t!  I hate you!”  But believe me, I did AND I hate you more!  Which is why I did.

Ok, I don’t really hate you, but I thought we needed some time apart.  But don’t worry.  I have a surprise for you!  Click the picture for an awesome (mediocre) surprise (waste of time).

Or you can click here to start the whole adventure over…better luck next time, ese!

Anaconda Industries 028: Boss

January 25th, 2010

Sorry I missed you last week.  I’m sure you cried yourself to sleep (I know I did).  Anyway, I figured I’d make it up to you with a DOUBLE ISSUE (yes, the caps lock was necessary).

So, the Boss’s secret is out.  How will this effect the crew of Anaconda Industries?!?!?!  Only time will tell.

Click the picture for a ginormous version.  Click here for last episode and here for the first episode ever!

This conversation is taken almost verbatim from an actual break-time discussion with Evil David.  I don’t think there’s really anything else to add, except that I used some brand new pens on this one.  I may have gotten a little carried away with the brush pen…everyone is nicely noir-shaded.

Anyway, click the pic for a big version, click here for last issue, and here for the first.

Anaconda Industries 026: R$D

January 4th, 2010

Guess what?  Your mom’s hot!  Also, I hope you had a Happy New Year.

Notice how I cleverly referred to R&D as R$D?!  Man, I crack myself up!  Anyway, it’s been a while since The Boss was in a strip.  I had actually forgotten how to draw him.

So…not much else to say, new character…but that’s about it.  Stay in school!

And click the picture for a big version.  Click here for last issue and here to start at the beginning!  PS, click here for the next issue…

Ah, yes.  Christmas.  That time of the year when everyone tries to be as excruciatingly PC as possible.  No, it’s not hilarious, but it is a Christmas-themed strip, so there.  I also realize that none of the people in the last three panels have lower bodies…oops.  What’s worse–that I forgot to draw the rest of their bodies, or that I was too lazy to correct that mistake even after I discovered it?  You be the judge.

Click on the picture for an even larger version.  Or click here for last week’s or here for the very first episode…I dare you.

You know what they say: “Pass me the salt.”  But, those same people also say: “Better late than never.”  So, I’m going with the latter.

Anyway, click the pic for a larger version, click here for next issue, click here for last week’s and here for the very first issue ever!!!

Ok, well, tonight’s issue is short and sweet–just like Ivan’s mom*!

Here’s a link to the original photo, for the curious.

As per usual, click the pic for a large version.  Click here for the next exciting issue.  Click here for last issue and here to start at the beginning.

*Insert drum roll.

Boom!  How do you like my color pencil technique.  Impressive, no?  I was going to make Moon Woman’s costume pink, but I don’t have a pink pencil.  Then I thought, “Hmmm, how about purple?”  But guess what–I didn’t find the purple pencil until after I had already colored her red (but notice the purple lining of her boots.)

I’ve met the real Pedro’s real parents and I gotta say, that’s pretty much what they look like.  Except that his mom has much bigger knockers, but I didn’t have enough ink.  Haha!  Woo, I’m on a roll tonight, baby!

Anyway, click the picture to see it in its full glory.  Click here to see last week’s episode and here to start at el beginingo!  And here for next issue.

Ok, another guest comic.  Some may say I’m lazy, but I would say…I agree.  Oh well.  I thought it would be fitting for Evil David to illustrate his own origin story.  It’s a very moving piece, if you ask me.

Anyway, click the picture for a larger version (definitely necessary to see all the beauty in the artwork), click here to start at the beginning, click here to go to last week, etc.  Here for the next exciting issue (in full color, no less!)
