And you thought last week’s episode sucked! Believe it or not, this issue actually took me longer to scan and post than it did to draw it. Crazy, huh? It’s funny in an ironic, fourth wall sort of way. If you’re not laughing, or at least chuckling inwardly, then I won’t finish this sentence.
I’m not sure what’s going on. I have on more week of personal life ahead of me, then I shall dedicate all my time and energy back into you, my fans…ok, fan. Mom, you’re not reading this anymore either?
Anyway, click the pic for a bigger version…but why you would want that is anyone’s guess. Click here for last issue, or here to see where this disaster all started. Here for next issue.

Woo, got this one in at the last minute. I’m not going to go so far as to say I was lazy with this one, but…you might have noticed that a few of the panels are similar. I’ve only got so much time in the week, and this was a super busy week. I had been toying around with the idea for this strip for a while and whittled down to what you see. Oh, well, you get what you pay for and the last time I checked, I wasn’t getting any money from this.
Usual rules apply: Click the picture for a big version, click here for last issue, and here for the very first. And here for the next issue.

Ah, the plot thickens! I had fun with this one. Evil David is a fairly extravagant character, so I put lots of movement into him. Anyway, big things are afoot. All of the principle cast has been introduced. Soon the fun starts.
Anyway, per usual, click the picture for a large version. Click here for the last issue, and here for the first issue. And here for the next issue.

The third-grader in me still loves a good poop joke…he even loves a bad one, to be honest. One of the hardest parts of this issue was deciding whether to name it “Poo” or “Poop.” As you can see, I chose to drop the final p. Haha, get it? “Poo” and “p” (”pee”)? Man, I’m hilarious.
Anyway, the dark and mysterious new figure is probably the last new major character that I shall introduce for the time being. From here we will move on to developing the subtext and redefining genre conventions, etc.
Anyway, click the picture for the full-size glory, click here for last issue, here for the next, or click here to start from the beginning of this epic saga.

Issue number 6. You may notice that it’s in black and white. That’s to accentuate the video-ness of it. Yeah, I am an artiste. Deal with it.
Also notice, this is your first taste of the Twelve-Eyed Booger Beast (haha, “taste”…boogers.) If you can’t figure out which of the above character is the Booger Beast, then you probably need to find a new comic strip to read.
As per usual, clickity click on the picture for a bigger view. Click here for last week’s issue and there for the first issue.

What’s this? A fifth strip on time? MADNESS, I tell you!
So, you’ll notice that I tried to make different people’s dialogue different colors…the Christmas theme is purely unintentional, oh well.
A few other things to note, I’ve decided to keep the “organic” hand-drawn text and bubbles. I even went so far as to give BIG, exclamatory text (that’s a “rowr”ing space-monkey). However, I think the computer-drawn borders look cleaner.
I like how the space-monkey came out. If you disagree, feel free to punch yourself in the face for me. I also like the protagonist’s expression in the fourth panel. Copy/paste the second sentence of this paragraph.
If you’re having trouble reading this one a) you suck, b) read across the top row, then down the two panels on the left, and end with the large panel in the lower right hand corner.

Woohoo, issue four! I tried a few new things here. I did the bubbles/lettering by hand and I also did the borders by hand (as opposed to by foot, which was just taking far too long). Incidentally, if you change the spacing of the phrase “far too long” you can make it say “fart oo long” which is a delicacy in Taiwan.
Anyhoo, click the pic for bigger blah, blah. Click here for the first issue and here for last issue and here for pictures of Ian’s mom.
Or here for the next issue.

And they just keep rolling out, ladies and gentlemen! This, along with the next several strips introduces a new character and some more backstory to the dark world of Anaconda Industries. In case you can’t tell, I’ve been reading a lot of Proust recently.
As per usual, click the pic for a larger view. Click here for the next issue. If you missed last week’s, it can be found here. Or start back at the beginning.

Ok, so this is my first foray into the world of graphic novelature. Go easy on me. I have big plans for this series, but it’ll take a while to get there. The plan is to release a new strip on a semi-weekly basis, so stay tuned.
